A four-member delegation of Islami Andolan Bangladesh has arrived in South Korea to attend the 13th General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).
The members of the delegation are:
1. Maulana Mahmudul Hossain Oliullah MP, Executive Member, Islami Andolan Bangladesh, and Member of Parliament for Barguna-1 (Head of Delegation)
2. K. M. Billal Hossain, Executive Member and Convener, Central Sub-Committee on Industry and Commerce, Islami Andolan Bangladesh
3. Imtiaz Ahmed Sajal, International Affairs Secretary, Islami Jubo Andolan Bangladesh
4. Muhammad Rajon Shikder, International Affairs Secretary, Islami Chhatra Andolan Bangladesh
On Thursday, November 5, leaders of the Islami Andolan Bangladesh South Korea Central Committee and Islamic scholars living in Korea gave the delegation a warm welcome at the airport's international arrivals terminal and greeted them with flowers.
To mark the delegation's visit, the Islami Andolan Bangladesh South Korea Central Committee will hold a reception at Zaiqa Restaurant in Itaewon, Seoul, at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 8. The South Korea branch's biennial council and Ulama-Sudhi Conference will also take place on the same day.
Founded in 2000, ICAPP is an international forum of ruling and opposition political parties from across Asia. Its permanent secretariat is located in Seoul, the capital of South Korea.
